About us

Abiding Faith Ministries began in the living room of the Lesso family's home in 2022, but the vision was born many years before. 

In 2009, Jordy (Lasarus) met Jen during a short term mission in Papua, Indonesia.  Despite different languages, cultures, and continents, God brought them together and they married in 2014. Five years later, the inspiration to establish an international Christian school began after the Lessos packed up their three young children and moved to Jordy’s hometown of Kupang, Indonesia. 

During the pandemic, the Lesso family traveled to the US to support this ministry idea but were unable to return to Indonesia due to travel restrictions.  In the fall of 2021, Jordy returned to Indonesia on a brief trip and God opened the doors for the ministry of Solid Rock School to begin.

Jen and Jordy have been working on the ministry from the US along with Indonesian partners in Kupang.  They plan to live in the US for now and support and run the ministry from here.  They plan to travel periodically to Indonesia to carry out and supervise ministry activities.
